Testify!

April 2, 2007 by Jenni

You google yourself every now and then, right? Don’t be embarrassed, it’s OK to admit it, I do it too. Sometimes I google My Name, and sometimes I google the name of my business. Googling Lunalux often provides an unexpected self-esteem booster, as I discover flattering things that people have written about our shop. Today, for example, I found that a user of the vita.mn website included a blurb about Lunalux in his guide to gift shopping in the Twin Cities. My only complaint is that we’re not right up at the top of this list!

Pulse of the Twin Cities has a nice write-up about Lunalux in their Hidden Treasures feature too. We’re not at the top of that list either, but it’s alphabetical so I can’t really complain!

Digging deeper, I see that a visit to Lunalux was mentioned (and pictured, too!) in a Minot University student’s diary of the art club’s trip to Minneapolis. Here we are in such good company it makes me blush a bit – Minneapolis Institute of Art, Minnesota Center for Book Arts, and Duffy & Partners. I even discovered that my alma mater, Macalester, includes me in a list of alums who are doing art-related work.

Plus we’re listed on alishops.com. And by the time I got down to that link, I started to feel a little embarrassed and vain, so I cut myself off. But if you find more mentions of Lunalux on the interweb, I hope you’ll let us know!
