Business cards make an impression

We’ve created some delicious business cards in the past few weeks, including the one pictured to the left for Foreign Inc. (click on the image for a larger picture). It’s a simple design, but we spent a good amount of time choosing the right font and balancing the sparse information. The texture created by gold letters biting into the thick 2-ply museum board makes the card feel remarkable and uncommon, which is ideal for a high-end interior designer; she needs a card that communicates to potential clients that she is committed to quality and luxury.
I’m particularly fond of these cards we made for our Chicago-area sales representative Teresa Mudryk (sepia and lime green ink on 130# wove cover stock). As a sales rep, Teresa works with many experienced designers, buyers, and store owners who see lovely things all the time, so she needs something modern and eye-catching; but I didn’t want the design to distract from the information on the card, or compete with the products she sells.
Letterpress-printed business cards are not cheap, but these two projects are examples of why it’s worth it to splurge on great cards. When you hand out a hand-crafted card that’s designed and printed to your specifications, it’s so much more than a reminder of your phone and fax numbers, it’s a palm-sized billboard that reinforces your business image and values.

i am interested in the letterpress flags I saw advertised in brides magazine with the quote all you need is love by paul mccartney
