Hot off the press: aqua & orange stripes
September 6, 2007 by Jenni
I’m excited about this color combination: aqua and orange. We’ve used these inks on a few new products this spring, including a thank-you note and a floral stationery set. Next notch on the aqua and orange belt: striped little letters.
Little Letters were first introduced to our wholesale line early in 2003, with three designs inspired by patterns I’d seen painted on Kahler ceramics on exhibit at Copenhagen’s Kunstindustri Museum. Spring of 2003 saw the introduction of the most popular Little Letters yet: two-tone stripes. We started with mango & sky blue; lime & navy; ruby & sky blue; and magenta & mango. Pink & black followed a few months later. Now we’ve added a sixth color combo to our catalog.
Little Letters are petite stationery sheets that measure just under 5×7 inches, folding to fit into a 3.5×5-inch envelope, the smallest size accepted by the U.S. postal service. These small letters are great for thank-yous and other brief personal greetings, and the mutliple color combinations make for compelling store displays. Aqua and orange striped little letters are on sale in the Lunalux studio store for $11 per pack of 10 sheets & envelopes
