Personal stationery, just for you

Personalized social stationery can be so useful for newlyweds. Of course, there are all the thank-you notes to write for shower & wedding gifts. Beyond that, customized notecards can provide encouragement for a pair to correspond with friends and family, near and far. Whether it’s to invite someone over for dinner, express appreciation for kind words and deeds, share good news, or just reach out to a long-lost pal, the bride and groom are going to be more enthusiastic about the task if they get to write on custom stationery that reflects their tastes.
So when my friends Becky & Meleck tied the knot this summer, I knew right away that I wanted to create notecards for them. My design was inspired partly by their wedding invitations, and partly by my perusal of their gift registries for clues about their color preferences. The two-tone design (built around my favorite ampersand – thank-you, Bernhard Modern) is printed in tan and chocolate on luxurious 100% cotton cover stock, and paired with both kraft and dark brown envelopes. Hopefully it’s something that the bride and groom will enjoy using for years to come.
