Celebrate V-Day at Lunalux

statsatvdayIn observance of Valentine’s Day, we’re hosting another Stationery Saturday on February 14. Enjoy a glass of champagne or a coffee and some chocolates while your personalized stationery is letterpress-printed before your very eyes! These folded notecards can be customized with a name or phrase of your choice (up to 18 characters and spaces) in purple ink on ecru deckle-edge notecards, and paired with either purple or ecru envelopes. We’ll be running the Heidelberg Windmill this time around (instead of the lo-fi hand-cranked proof press), so you’ll have to keep your hands to yourself. We’re also excited that this weekend’s event was featured on KSTP’s Twin Cities Live TV show on Tuesday afternoon.     I love my notecards you did for my stepdaughter – favorite Christmas present – big hit.

    Tomorrow I can’t make it down there in person, but love the design and would love to order one set for myself and 2 gifts. Is it possible to place an order this way?

    As a former printer and heidelberg windmill operator, I love your resiliency of letterpress in this digital world. Your windmills make you the Don Quixotes of the printing industry. My daughter is an attorney and frequently travels to Minneapolis in her work. I have encouraged her to visit your shop and take a tour. Love your e-mails! Keep ‘em coming.
