Select Saturdays, Lunalux shoppers can go home with hot-off-the-press customized paper goods. Each Stationery Saturday, we print a unique design, utilizing a selection from our collection of antique lead and wood type. Some weeks we print from delicate monogram sorts, other times with weathered wood type. It might be stationery sheets, or folded cards or flat notes, and the styles vary from traditional to modern. The paper is cut, the press is ready to go, you just pick the letters and watch us work it Gutenberg-style. You’re welcome to look over our shoulder as we work, and we’ll de-mystify letterpress printing step-by-step. Or leave us to do the heavy lifting while you browse in our studio shoppe. We also offer complimentary coffee and a homemade cookies for guests to enjoy whilst shopping. Your personalized stationery is ready before you know it! May 4, 2013 – We’re ushering in spring with this suite of colorful folded notes. Four designs have been printed in transparent white ink, creating a subtle tone-on-tone effect. We selected delicious shades for the folded card: mango, grape, blue raspberry and lime. On Saturday, visitors will find gray ink on the press and two cases of 14-point lead type to choose from: delicate Piranesi Italic, or the hefty Bernhard Gothic Modern. Finished cards, hot off the press, can be paired with matching or contrasting A2 envelopes (choices include white, red, lime, grape, blue raspberry, pink and orange). We had moms in mind when we created these cards – Mother’s Day is Sunday May 12, and we’re pretty sure that a gift of bespoke stationery will clarify who, exactly, is Mom’s Favorite. 
The nitty gritty details: Stationery Saturdays run from 11:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. on select dates. Guests are served on a first-come first-served basis, and supplies are limited. The cost is $34.00 for a set of 10 customized cards, with blank envelopes. Additional pieces with the same imprint are $3.00 each.
